Blueprint of my soul

I vowed to never fall in love as without reciprocation, it’s just falling. I never intended with you either. I’d rather choose to swing between nothing and nothingness. But, the universe always has a mysterious way to make you do things in its own way. It sent you with the blueprint of my soul. Then you left like you always knew your way out.

Who says nothing lasts forever? The tattoo you left on my soul says otherwise. It says removal of tattoos will be more painful than inking one. So here I’m with my one breath at a time flaunting my badge of honor and laughing loudly at the universe’s own jest.
